The Silver Buffalo Berry makes a nice barrier between neighbors. A good watering once a month after they are established will make attractive plants full of berries. These typically grow adjacent to rivers and creeks. Some are some distance for the water. Below are the fruits. Each fruit has a small seed and when completely ripe are very sweet. To harvest, place a tarp under the tree/shrub; much of the fruit will shake off. Good fall and early winter food for the birds. Most berries are red, but have some are yellow and orange.
